Room’s fantastic, clean, modern, functional and a little quirky. Fabulous location but next to no parking.
Great value for money for a Saturday night in Newcastle.
Breakfast was beyond poor. Selection not great, especially cold, yoghurts, fresh fruit, berries, compotes etc. Hot buffet was dismal, anaemic sausages, soggy bacon, both looked like they’d been cooked in the steamer, no colour at all. It wasn’t the quality of ingredients so much as the lack of skill and care in cooking them.
I’m sure Gino didn’t hang his reputation on the breakfast offering.
We will use the bedrooms again but will go into Newcastle for breakfast (as we did for dinner).
Breakfast is the last impression for customers and you need to get it right.More
