The experience started before we'd even got there, I got a courtesy call from them from a very friendly member of staff who just wanted to check on any requirements we might have and when asked was it for an occasion I mentioned it was my birthday
From the second we walked in, we knew we'd chosen well. The hotel has an open plan chic look to it. The reception staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful and I'd been upgraded to a Studio room with quayside view of the iconic bridges
The rooms themselves were well designed, with a spacious airey look. The shower room was large and the shower itself powerful, with the twin 'drench' or hand held options. The complimentary facilities were generous
The bar and restaurant continued the stylish theme. We didn't eat at the hotel, but it had a Gino D'Campo restaurant with an open plan kitchen and the food looked amazing. We visited the bar at the beginning and end of the evening and it was very popular, even with non guests. There was a DJ playing background music at a low volume and gave the place a great atmosphere
I'm a Newcastle United season ticket holder and stay over frequently, at both ends of the budget spectrum. I can say that the Innside is the best place I've stayed at and can't wait to go backMore
