Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Room was spacious and clean.
Emma B has great knowledge on the best restaurants and bars in the city.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty choice hot or cold. Nothing was too much trouble for Karli on breakfast service.
Joan went above and beyond on housekeeping.
Small car park, charge was reasonable.
Will definitely be back to Travelodge Central.

Room tip: Good location, 10minute walk to centre.

I've stayed here a few times and it's OK. It can be a bit noisy at times if you leave your window open
Emma B and Karli always say hello and take time to chat which is nice.
Id stay again. Be warned the car park is very tight

We booked to stay after a gig at the City Hall. We should have had 3 nights but circumstances changed and we only had the one. This meant it was difficult to get our bearings and we found that the walk back through the city centre after the gig was a bit daunting. Not the hotel's fault just that had we realised we'd have booked something closer to the venue. Having said all this, if we'd gone for the original 3 nights it would have been ideal for exploring both sides of the Tyne. As always the room wad clean and tidy, the breakfast was good. My biggest gripe is that smokers stand in the doorway - this includes staff which makes walking into the reception slightly unpleasant
