If I could give this 0 stars I would. Overpriced cocktails in plastic cups which is so awful for the environment! Managers were so rude and horrible to us too. The servers were not dressed appropriately at all and barely had masks on. The music was way too loud, could barely hear myself think. Will never ever go back, especially not for the price of the deposit! If you're in the area, highly highly recommend Annie's across the road. Lacehouse is awful

If I could give this zero stars I would, this was an awful awful experience. Awful drinks served in plastic cups , when we complained we were then given a porn star in a champagne flute!!

The drinks tasted like premixed juice , got our drinks order wrong so many times!! Management was absolutely shocking !! So rude !!!! We were very polite in our complaint , we did not want to be rude instead we were met by such a hostile and defensive attitude!!

No way to run a bar! The music was so loud , couldn’t even hear ourselves speak!! The only decent thing about this place was the fact that we got to leave.
Overpriced and sh*t!!!!

£14 for a plastic cup filled with juice sold as a ‘pornstar martini’ with no Prosecco on the side and no passion fruit- extortionate prices for below average cocktails if you could call it that.

Management was appalling, when we asked if the music could be turned down slightly as our friend has severe autism the music was in fact turned up- I find this unacceptable.

they managed to get our drink order wrong three times and when the drink did come it was half empty with no ice. Unfortunately we payed £150 before which was non refundable and we still had to pay £30 more for disgusting drinks, rude staff and dirty toilets.

When we asked the manger if we could move our booking to another day due to abhorrent service, he responded in an incredibly rude manner even though we were trying to be as polite as possible. Quite possibly the WORST management I have ever seen from mr. Lacehouse himself.

I will not be recommending this bar to any of my friends, i will in fact warn people away. I have spoke to many of my friends and they have had similar experiences.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Although we arrived on time we were left standing at the door waiting to be seated, even though the venue was practically empty.

The service started out well. Once we were seated our waitress came over shortly after to take our order. First round of drinks arrived quickly with the food arriving shortly after with only a short wait for my side order. My friend ordered eggs benedict which was served in a paper lined basket. While I understand this may be trendy and edgy in line with the venue and its location, it was far from practical with the sauce falling through the holes in the basket. I went to find the waitress to see if we could get some plates and had to get them myself from the kitchen pass.

Our experience went downhill from there. The service got slower and had to flag down the waitress for more drinks. While I appreciate post-lockdown service is hard to get into, there were clearly staffing issues as the venue got busier.

Towards the end of our alloted 90 minutes we asked for a final drink and was told by our waitress that "that will have to be your last one!", then waited a further 20 minutes until we managed to get the attention of a different waitress that promptly brought our drinks.

Food was delicious and cocktails went down well, the main issues with our experience were with the service.

Felt discriminated against from the very start. Came with a few mates from home for some food and drinks. Took 30 minutes for a waiter to come and ask if wanted to order anything, when the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Took over an hour for our food to come, and in this time our booking ran out and they tried to ask us to leave before we’d even received our meals. Whilst watching the table of girls, who were sat next to us, continuously being asked if they wanted any more drinks or anything, we only got asked twice over the one and half hours. Finally they tried to charge us over a hundred pounds more than the correct amount. Overall a poor experience.
