I went here for my daughters birthday meal with family. There were 12 of us so I booked a week in advance and checked the day before but was told they didn't have our booking. Luckily we still were ok to get a table. On arrival i said i bought a cake and would it be ok to sing happy birthday, i was told the restaurant normally charge £1.50 per head to do this! When i explained we would probably order desert still the waitress said it would ok. Some of us had the set menu and some had the main menu but the portions were small (I new potato cut in half) with the main dish was NOT adequate. We waited ages for our main courses and I was last to receive my food (everyone else had finished eating) when we spoke to the waitress on waiting so long she said "why did we have somewhere to go to"! They did compensate by taking the cost of my meal off the bill but we were still disappointed as the men in our group were all still hungry!!! We spent over £350 so don't think we had value for money..... wont be returning

Dropped in on the off chance for brunch.
Staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish.
Great menu - something for everybody.
I had the veggie breakfast. Each component was delicious and very generous portions (especially the avocado)without overloading the plate.
Always wanted to go - really glad I did - definitely going back!

I had the slow braised beef here. It was really good. The service was good and the staff friendly. It’s just around the corner from the Almeida Theatre, so it’s good for a pre show dinner.

Really friendly service in this busy restaurant. Great choices of brunch options and good quality food served. Always seems to be busy but the service is good and nothing is too much trouble. Nice atmosphere.

We had the full English and the baked eggs with chorizo. The good was absolutely delicious - though the service was a little slow. Nice spot and would overall recommend
