When we arrived we thought the queue was long. However the boat turned up and we all got on. We were lucky with the sunshine and sat upstairs. The tour guide was so funny, we are still talking about it. He made us all laugh and was full of knowledge. We got this as part of our bus tour but definitely pay to do it.
Great job guys, thanks

We used Tesco clubcard points to get vouchers to put towards single tickets from Westminster to Greenwich, but the ticket office man was really helpful and told us to get a 24 hour family pass which was cheaper, so this cost us nothing!

It took a while queuing to get on the boat, but there was plenty of seating and the journey on a sunny afternoon was really enjoyable. The commentary was light-hearted and informative, if not entirely accurate.

If you just want to see the sights, get off at Tower Bridge, but I’d recommend going to Greenwich and spending some time there. I wish we’d had longer. As it was we were in a rush to get back, so skipped the slow boat home and got the faster DLR.

Thank ebatey
