I stayed here as part of a travel group for 10 nights. Although the rooms are clean and a good size there is no double glazing and the sound of sirens and particularly weekend crowd noise was a problem for me. Even on level 6. Aside from the bathrooms which look recently refurbished, the rooms need a makeover as they are quite tired and not what I expect from a so called 5 star hotel.
Although the buffet breakfast is good, the hotel room service is poor and lets the hotel down.
The staff are pleasant but after requesting small face towels at least four times I eventually gave up. The mini bar is this stupid electronic system where you can’t even move anything because it’s attached to sensors so you can’t use the fridge for any of your own personal items. I have never seen this anywhere, it’s horrible and pointless as they continually come in to check the mini bar anyway even if you haven’t moved anything.
Wouldn’t stay again but it wasn’t dreadful either. More
