Another must stop visit while in London. Plan on spending a few hours as there is much to see, starting with the Crown Jewels. Eye popping baubles which seem almost unreal. Nothing matches these gems. Three other museums to see while in the fortress. This has everything for the whole family, including an outdoor skating rink!!!!

I decided to visit the Tower on the morning of Halloween before I saw a West End show. The prices are quite high but as a history lover, I had to visit during my time in London. During my time I took a free tour and was fascinated by the information (I do wish that the group had been a bit smaller, some got left behind). The staff members were very nice and informative, and the new graphics in Bloody Tower were beautifully haunting.
I was a little confused by the actors in the one room because they were a strange mix of interacting and not speaking with the visitors.
All in all, if you're a history buff, the Tower is the place to go. While it is not completely worth the price, there is a small student discount that is useful.

This place is a must see when visiting London. I loved the tour we were given here, I got to know a lot of interesting facts about the Tower and England, it was all presented in a light and fun way, thanks to our ‘guide’ ;) The Crown Jewels are simply breathtaking.

Takes you back in time as you wander around a truly huge and stunning castle and its grounds. With billboards detailing important historical moments surrounding and throughout the tower, it is well worth a look around to learn a little about some of the darker aspects of London's history. Also home to the amazing crown jewels - got to be one of the must do locations in the capital
