We got the Kewsick launch to Hawes End then did a fabulous circular walk. Kids aged 8y and 5y loved the walk especially the scrambling parts at the top. Fabulous views. Definetely recommend.

This popular ridge walk is easily accessed from Keswick by either bus or ferry. This is a linear walk on well defined trails which would be great for introducing youngsters to the joys of fell walking with tremendous views all round and particularly of Derwent water and Borrowdale. An alternative to returning along the same route is to descend into Borrowdale and return to Keswick along the delightful lakeside path.

Beautiful walk, not too difficult and hugely popular. Parking can be a bit tricky, but well worth it!!!

Wonderful walk, quite taxing at places but well worth the effort. Many different people walking and all friendly.

For our first walk in Keswick we took on Catbells Lakeland Walk. Pretty steep in places and if you're not fit then it could be a struggle. Well worth the view over Keswick and Derwent Water once you're up the top. Great scenery
