Really enjoyed our visit to Ciao. The food was delicious and because it is cooked to order it came to the table hot. Presentation also impressed. The calamari and sea bass were especially good. The waiting staff helped make the whole experience such a good one, they were polite and helpful and worked really hard all evening. Excellent value for money, left feeling really full!

We decided to try ciao again once it had reopened and the food was good and the staff were very nice and helpful when it came to telling us how the new system worked for the ordering. It seemed to be a little slow coming to the table but was nice. We will be back though as we enjoy going to ciao.

Party of 10 booking for a birthday celebration. Visited here numerous times prior to the reopening last week. The choice is one of 3 all you can eat menu. Gone are the green and red discs to show when you are ready to reorder. Most of us had the most expensive menu which was £25 per person. There were plenty of choices and the beef and lamb shank and pork are highly recommended. The waitressing staff were pleasant and although some of the food was a little slow to arrive I do worry when it is very busy it will be very slow. Feel the menu is overpriced even though we got £5 off per person as a March offer.

Went to Ciao last Thursday night to celebrate my wife's birthday. We went for the Premium Menu, which was delicious - more on that in a bit.

When we arrived we were met at the door by a waiter who took our coats and seated us at a large table for two. He talked us through how the "all you can eat" system works. Basically, your first order is up to two starters, a pizza and a main dish each. Then after you've eaten that, you can order anything you like from the menu, as much as you want, as many times as you like.

There are three levels of menu. We treated ourselves to the Premium Menu (£25.50pp). We had starters of calamari, rice balls filled with beef and mozzarella, and olives. Then a delicious pizza, belly pork and the tastiest sea bass I've ever had. Then we came back for lamb shanks, more calamari and some beef.

The portions aren't enormous, but they don't need to be. They're probably two thirds the size of portions you'd get if they were your only course. Slightly smaller plates means you can taste a wider variety of food We ploughed through so much because we didn't distract ourselves with any sides of chips or potatoes.

It was all washed down with a very nice house red.

After our meal we were given our coats back and headed home happy.

We'll be back!
