1 night stay as attending a funeral nearby mid morning.

As most have said Car Park full although I just found a space.

Check in fairly busy, seems popular with cruise parties and families off to Peppa Pig World , it seemed the lad on reception didn’t have a reservation in my name, after admitting he was looking in the wrong place left me to fill in details of somebody else’s booking! I think he’d had a long day and wanted to go home.

Room was rather tired looking, carpet was covered in stains , by some way the worst of the half a dozen or so of this chain I’ve stayed in. Bed was comfortable enough and decent sleep until the fire alarm went off at about 6.30am , I wanted an alarm call anyway but would have preferred it an hour later.

Breakfast standard HI Express, staff at breakfast pleasant, usual choice , excellent coffee the highlight.

I only paid £51 for the stay including the breakfast, so can’t really complain at the price , though would probably stay elsewhere and pay a little more..

Very clean hotel

The hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Harvey, Mo, Rachel, Rich, Donna, Gemma, Phil B and Dominick were the best employees. No washclothes, the varying drink prices and lunch menu was not great. Breakfast was free and was yummy.
I gave it a 4 as I was surprised at mo washclothes. The drink prices are not set and after a dismal lunch. I ordered Uber eats which was fantastic. They say a lot is withing walking distance but for me ot was far. Either call an uber or have a rental car. It is 1.5 hours from Heathrow pretty close to the cruise port.

Disappointing

Arrived after a long coach journey from Newcastle and stayed overnight on our way to Jersey. Room felt grubby and two singles ordered turned out to be a double and a rickety settee bed. very little room between and i bruised my toes on frame of sofa bed. Evening meal supplied was appalling. Sticky tables and poor quality food. After travelling almost the whole length of the country lukewarm soup, fishcakes, incinerated chicken slices, fries and cold mixed vegetables was not what I was looking forward to. We left at 4am next day and I certainly will not return. Fortunatel the Holiday Inn Express we stayed in on our return journey was just the opposite and was a pleasure to stay in.

Poor on the catering front,

Sadly the waiti in the restaurant was 1hour 20 minutes. Offered local pubs,but as car park at hotel was full,we would have had to park miles away when we returned…….husband diabetic so need to eat promptly this was explained to staff,with no help….

As our restaurant is operated on a first come first serve basis this can cause a delay in service while we prepare the orders we apologise for any inconvenience this caused you

Guests are welcome to order food to the hotel which can be eaten in your room and a secondary car is also available at the neighbouring "Utilita Bowl" should you go out and find no parking in the hotel grounds

A Very Nice Hotel

We stayed here with a stay and park (eight nights) deal with a night at the hotel, parking do right nights and taxi transfer to and from the cruise port. There is a bar and a restaurant at the hotel. The restaurant has fair prices for being at a hotel and the food we ordered was tasty.

Location: Fairly close to the M27 and within easy walking distance of the cricket grounds. There is plenty of parking available. There is a retail park less than a five minute drive away.

Check-in: Friendly and explained how the park and stay deal works.

Room: We were upgraded to a larger king room. The room was very large, the king bed was firm but not overly uncomfortable, the TV has Freeview channels, the bathroom is also fairly large and has a shower. The water pressure was fairly good. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. There is individually controlled heating and air conditioning in the room which is somewhat unusual for the UK.

Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast is ok. There are a few different hot items and a larger selection of cold items.

Overall: We liked our stay here and the parking package was extremely good value for money. We will stay again for our next cruise.

Clean comfortable hit

Nice comfy room, however lots of noisy guests.
Breakfast included and staff very helpful as I’m disabled. Could do anymore for you….
Take a leaf out of the parents book and sit away from the kids play area, so you can have peace and quiet like the afore mentioned parents.
That aside, hotel lovely and clean and situated handily for cruise terminal.

Room tip: Sleep would have been better without noisy guests
