Overall a good visit. Facilities very good , but all spa treatments booked up early , therefore no comment on quality. Staff overall very good , Rhianneth on reception was top class and head and shoulders above all other staff we came in contact with. Room service was excellent with a high quality menu , beautifully cooked.

Room Tip: A settee in the room would be an asset.

Upon arrival the staff were very accommodating , serving us a lovely drink (raspberry , elderflower, apple and lemonade ) and giving us information on the hotel /spa and surrounding area.

We got to our room to be greeted with a lovely decorated bed and a bathroom with a massive bathtub in with gorgeous views of Fistral Beach .
The room had everything you needed iron/hairdryer/towels and even had bathrobes and slippers in the wardrobe .

We dropped our bags off and headed out for the rest of the afternoon to discover newquay.

When we got back we asked the lady at reception if she could order us a taxi for later on that evening . She couldn’t of been more accommodating and phoned straight away .

We got back about 9.30pm that evening and headed up for bed , we had lovely relaxing bath and got into bed to watch a bit of tv . Feeling all relaxed we decided it was time to get our heads down for the night BUT.....

After switching the lamps off in the bedroom no later than 11.30pm all we could see was lights shining in over our curtain rail , the room was too hot we had our French doors open most the time we were there , and there was what can only be described as loud and noisy elephants walking /running down the corridors .

I would also recommend getting some harder pillows /or bringing your own . Pillows were way too soft so ended up using the decorative cushions too support my neck .

After my husband being away for 4 and half months serving with the military this was supposed to be a relaxing couple of nights away but unfortunately it wasn’t what we invisaged. Going home tired and grouchy due to hardly any sleep :(

We were however impressed with how the staff were so friendly and accommodating , we called down to ask a couple of questions and nothing was too much bother. The sea views from the hotel were absolutely gorgeous and we had complimentary use of the sauna/steam room/gym/swimming pool.

Upon departure we recieved a little goody bag for hitting the road which consisted of stick of rock , water and some other leaflet bits.

Could not fault staff members all very friendly!

Had a spa experience for my friends birthday here, it was lovely, so calm and relaxing. Such lovely facilities. The masseuse had magic hands. The food was exquisite and went down very well with a glass of wine

Lovely pool, great spa team, lovely chill out room for before and after treatments, which included a variety of teas and nibbles. The pool was great, with steam and sauna rooms, and a Jacuzzi. Service in the bar and restaurants was excellent with lovely and attentive staff. The food in the restaurant was sublime. As the hotel is located on the peninsular overlooking Fistral Beach, the views were amazing from both the room and the restaurant.
