This has to be one of the best cathedrals we have seen. Unfortunately, due to the high entrance prices, we were unable to have a good look around inside, but we thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the perimeter of this huge building.

Stunning to look at both inside and outside but I found it very expensive to enter. Saw a lot of people go in then turn around and come out due to high price of admission. £8 just to enter. If this was more £5 price bracket I'm sure more of those who left would've paid to look around.

Amazing historic building. We must help to support these beautiful buildings, they bring history to life and make it so understandable that people come from all over the world.

The building is very big and we were disappointed that it seemed a lot of money that had to be paid to enter, not just a donation, also the day we visited it was cordoned off inside as the school was going to hold some sort of service, but what we could see was lovely. The gardens next to it went down to the marina, so we walked through them.

We had a good visit - lots to see and the lantern tour was really interesting. However the first impression was poor - the west porch was full of feathers and pigeon muck. I know it's an ongoing problem but there were 2 volunteer welcomes on the door doing very little and with a broom and 5 minutes they could have made the entrance acceptable. I was also disappointed at the cables, extension leads, TVs cluttering certain parts of the cathedral- the extension housing the fabulous Priors' door is little more than a store room. With a bit of tidying up this really would be a first-class experience.
