Four for dinner during the snowy freezing weather

Warm welcome and warm, comfortable restaurant

Great choice on offer. Starters, we chose Crab Mayonnaise and Prawn Gratine. The prawns were delicious. Ready to eat in a rich tomato and garlic sauce. Amazing taste

Mains, Fish Parmentier (!!), Breton Stew (!!), steak (!!) and beef Bourguignon (!!!!). Beef was melt in the mouth with a perfect combination of gravy, onions, lardons etc. Perfection on a plate

Good choice of sides (try Artichoke Gratine!!!) - and desserts, but no room for the latter!

Overall, a very good meal out - with attentive service and another warm good-bye as we left

Bill for four inc. gratuity and a bottle of house red, £32 each. Not cheap eats, but very good value . .

We went here a couple of weeks ago with a business colleague ( French) and his wife and eight year old son.
The selection of food was great and everyone found something they liked , including the son who demolished a bowl of modules frites with great aplomb!
Because we were doing our best speaking another language it was good to be somewhere busy with a friendly atmosphere! Great job!

Love this chain, the menu is static and the cooking of which is uniform and always first class.
Staff make the difference, bright sunny Saturday and tables still available in the window object to being put at the back of the restaurant, little did they know it was a treat for a special birthday did feel staff not interested in the customer .
Usually eat in bath or Exeter and their staff a re certainly more charismatic and like to ensure with genuine euthisamism the customer is satisfied. Food quality was as good as normal.

I can highly recommend the Côte Brasserie in Clifton Village, Bristol. My family and I were looking for somewhere to eat on Sunday lunchtime and managed to get a table for three despite not having booked; it is quite a large restaurant so there were plenty of tables available.
The menu has a very Gallic slant, as the name of the restaurant would suggest, and we had starters and main courses, which left us with no more room for desserts as we were full enough by then.
I have attached a picture of the Pork Belly main course that I had which was accompanied by potato gratin. All the food was beautifully prepared and very tasty.
The staff were friendly and helpful; I observed them being very attentive to an elderly couple, near us, who needed wheelchair assistance to get to their taxi after their meal.
The prices were not too high and very good value for the quality of the food. In a city that has many fantastic places to eat, this restaurant certainly fits in well and is worth visiting.
