The staircase is stunning, and the history of the palace is really interesting. The guided tour was in Italian, but we have learned enough to understand most of what was said - not sure if they offer the tour in other languages. From the outside the palace doesn't look like much, but it's worth the few Euro to take the tour and see the place. Of course the famous staircase is the focal point - I could have spent a lot more time there taking pictures! How he was able to design it is still a mystery, and the paint and style of it is positively beautiful. Just check the hours as they are limited - only open specific times and only on Saturday and Sunday.
