Visited Fishers Farm on Monday, phoned ahead to see if they had a wheelchair to rent due to my husband just having had an operation. We arrived at the farm to be welcomed by a lovely lady called Janie who surprised us with a mobility scooter at no charge she couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a really lovely day, the farm had something for everyone. There were animals to pet, tractor rides, shows, sheep racing, tea cup rides, train rides and a new splash area which was a welcome relief for little ones with the day being so hot. I would highly recommend a visit to Fishers you will not be disappointed.

The park is very nice and has a fair amount of animals but we went expecting a farm.

The park is largely rides and activities which were all good if you are not too bothered about the farm element.

There are a few fairground rides for smaller children and variance types of adventure play grounds and tractor type rides.

The park is expensive at £16.75 per person but that did include most attractions with only a few costing extra.

We spent around 4 hours here as it was nice and pleasant but older kids 10 and above may not be so entertained

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We would agree and say our park is best suited for 2 - 10 year olds with weekdays being good for babies. We have lots of different animals and events to get child up close and personal with them such as farm show, Dinner Dash, animal handling and different tractor rides but I'm glad you enjoyed our Adventure Activities too! We hope you come back and visit us again soon.

Went here on Saturday 26th May with our 11 yr old daughter and 4 granddaughters aged 10, 8,7 and 3 yrs old. Love that almost everything is included in the entry fee bar a couple of things you need tokens for which we didn’t mind paying a bit extra for. We had a really great day but when it came to lunchtime we were rather disappointed! We had a late lunch (2pm) and went to the Farm Grill on the hopes this would cut down waiting times. We waited in a queue for at least 20 minutes with only 2 other people in front of us and were not apologised to at any point for the wait. An older gent in front of us had waited over 10 minutes for 2 coffees and at no point did anyone explain to him that the coffee would take a while as it was from a machine which appeared to be having trouble. Eventually he got his coffees and we were all told there was a queue in the indoor part of the grill and all staff were serving those customers despite the fact we had been waiting longer! We finally got to order and waited a further 15 minutes on food. While we were waiting for food the staff were stood waiting for the cooked food by the food racks in the back and not serving any other customers who just wanted drinks or ice creams and could have been dealt with quickly! We would have spent even more money and had ice creams but couldn’t be bothered to queue up again! This really was disappointing service compared with the rest of the day. Other than the disappointment with lunch the rest of the staff were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful! We loved the shows in the animal barn and the chance at getting up close to the animals. Would visit again but next time would take a picnic and save money by not having lunch there which is more convenient than having to cart a picnic around!

Thank you for your review, I'm glad to hear that you had a good day. I'm very sorry that you had a wait for food, this is longer than we would have wanted you to wait so I will pass it on to the catering manager so we can get to the bottom of it and stop it happening again.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We were headed down to Brighton and thought we'd take the kids to Fishers on the way. Being massive fans of Bocketts Farm we were set to be disappointed but we were completely thrilled. Fishers was an amazing experience and on a weekday so much more empty than Bocketts. We also loved that the chickens, pea hens etc are roaming freely and that the public is not feeding the animals. We really appreciated the staff who were unbelievably friendly. From the lady who explained the park to us, to the guys painting the train station to the lady hand rearing her pet raven everyone gave us a lot of their time happily. One of the best mid-week activities with under 4s we have had.
