We visited Myrto in June 2019 and spent a wonderful week there. Dino was a great host, very helpful and always in a good mood :-) He even took the time to play in the pool with our 3 years old son Filip. Everything was perfect, the location and views are the best !!!
An amazing place and that truly merits the highest rating possible
This was our second visit to Myrto Homes . It is an amazing place that was absolutely perfect for us. There is only six apartments and they are well separated. The only thing you hear in the morning is the sound of birds. The peace and quite is wonderful. There is no main road nearby and that is fantastic. The sunset view to the ocean is another huge prize. From the balcony at night you can see the sunset over the ocean that is just there. The village center Agios Nikitas is down the hill about 2 km. That is a good thing!!! The little village is sweet but it is much nicer to be up the hill and have a sunset view. What else? Why did we come back the second time? The caretakes are outstanding and keep the place like new and do little things like make barbecue fires for us and fix our daughter's beach toys and are just nice to have there since we like to run in the morning, we have no worries about leaving our daughter for an hour or two. The beaches are world famous. We have traveled a lot and this was our third trip to Greece. We have seen other parts (Santorini, Crete, etc.) and Lefkada is something special. Once you get off the tourist map of beaches, the BEST beaches can be found. So much more to explore and we will come back!
Spent 8 nights at Myrto. Great host. Great team. Great rooms. Clean, quiet, safe, fully equipped.
The whole location and especially its pool is an absolutely amazingly relaxing location high above blue Mediterranean Sea.
Walking down to the village (beach, restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, etc.) takes you about 12 minutes downhill. A steep but do-able trail. Uphill? Ok, it‘s uphill, but still do-able, too.
We would absolutely come back again!
This is one of my favourite places in the world. It is perfectly situated just away from the beautiful village of Agios Nikitas meaning that you have peaceful surroundings and wonderful views. We enjoyed the 10 min walk on the rough path to the village (not so much back - but it made me slightly less guilty about all the cheese and wine I have consumed!). Everything is pretty much perfect. The apartments are well equipped and we were grateful to have a sandwich toaster. We were a family of 4 staying on the first floor and the two children shared a bed in the lounge. The pool was fabulous and we often had it to ourselves, as was the sunset deck where we enjoyed a beer and a few games of cards in the evening. Dino was a great host - unobtrusive yet available and we made good use of his recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Agios Nikitas in May was lovely - not too crowded and the walk to Milos beach was stunning. I can't recommend this place enough.
Perfect view of paradise, so the fact that you are up on the hill it's well worth; if you have a car is easy, if not, there is a path wich takes you to the city and beach zone, not so bad, but not easy for older persons not used to this. Amazing view, beautiful garden with very clean pull, barbeque zone well equiped. Rooms are very clean, very well equiped with everything you would possiblly need, including freezer.They even put at your disposal beach umbrellas. The owners and staff are very kind,friendlly, always ready to help with anything, including transfer to/from airport, renting a car, restaurant recommandations or what so ever you wish to ask. We will for sure come back, we have sweet memories with Myrto place, our sweet honeymoon.
