Royal Corin was a pleasant surprise.
The Volcano view is amazing. We went during rainy season, and got a couple of times where the clouds cleared and we could see the vapor coming out of the top which was great!
We were greeted upon entry where David grabbed our bags, and had us wash our hands before entering. (Washing hands before entering happened at many places we went)
We were taken to couches in the lobby and greeted with fresh juices and towels to refresh.
Afterwards, Fabian came over to welcome us to the hotel, walk us through the basics and let us know that we were free to use the amenities until our room was ready. We were super early for check in and our rooms were not ready understandably. (Note: they also decorated the room as we were celebrating our anniversary)
We got up to the room when it was ready and David brought up our bags and showed us the room basics. The room needs a room key for the electricity to work. (This includes the mini fridge - something to keep in mind if you plan on being out all day)
The shower was nice with the color changing lights, rainfall shower head, handheld shower head, and the wall sprayers.
The AC worked well, trying to find the right temps was a bit of trial and error but we found our sweet spot.
Breakfast was decent. Im mostly vegan, so they tried to accommodate
as much as they could but options were somewhat limited. Compared to other food in the area, I would say it was a normal hotel breakfast. Nothing stood out as a 'must try,' but it always got us through our days where we only had to have light lunches or skip lunch and just have dinner.
The pool setup is great. The main pool is a hot spring and nice and warm. It has a swim up bar with seats. The pool on one side was cold and the other also warm. They also had some jacuzzis surrounding which provided a bit of seclusion. They are at different temperatures so I recommend checking all of them to find the right one for you.
I really enjoyed the hot springs after our adventures. It was a great way to relax our muscles.
We got a couples massage at the spa and it was good. The surprise was the pools and other amenities in the spa that you can use before and after treatment. They had a waterfall hotspring, two pools with built in reclined seats that had jets, a sauna, and a dew other things. They had a steam room inside the locker rooms and a jacuzzi in there as well. I really enjoyed the spa in the hotel.
The service at the front desk was great. We had a lot of questions and they helpded us with all of them. They communicate seamlessly between the front and gate. We would let them know we ordered an Uber or tour and they would let us know they were arriving which was a nice touch.
