We loved our master suites in this property. The service was excellent, the staff was amazing and the food was great too. There are hot springs in the property. But if you want more photogenic ones (which will also be more crowded), then you can visit the hot springs but still stay here.

Stayed two nights while driving across Costa Rica. Everything was as pictured but better in person. Thermal pool was incredible and we enjoyed drinks and food at swim up bar. They provided exceptional service, very quick response to requests, and excellent food.

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Corin for three nights in February and had a great experience there. Having mineral pools on site was a huge, huge plus and one of the main reasons we booked here – while they are not as scenic as Tabacon, they are still attractive and just as relaxing and it was the perfect way to unwind each day (especially with a drink in hand!). The service went above and beyond – the entire staff was friendly and hospitable and we appreciated the complementary welcome drinks and appetizers as well as the mini desserts brought to our room each night. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of Arenal from our balcony (the hotel is designed so all guests have this view). We were on the side of the hotel closest to the main road so we did hear noise but it wasn’t too disruptive. The breakfast buffet (included in our stay) was great and there was good variety each day. We ended up eating dinner at the hotel each night since there aren’t many options in La Fortuna. The food was good but not particularly memorable. We also got massages at the spa which were enjoyable and not too expensive ($75 pp), especially compared to the US. There’s a nice set of private hot springs and saunas available to spa guests as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We are in our early 30s and were some of the youngest guests there, but this worked out to our advantage because we wanted peace and quiet.
