all i could say everything are there... nowhere else to go... really good for family gathering, if you want to have fresh seafood barberque... it just nearby from the resort, they call "tempat pelelangan ikan" raw seafood for barberque or you can ask the housekeeper/reception to buy n cook for you.

It was family escape in the beginning of the 2016.
PLUS :
it's so relaxing, close to the beautiful beach, high wave great view. It's good place for morning beach walking, they have good place to enjoy the beach (bale). Great food. Many foreigners stayed here means it has international standard. The cheapest room still very large, can accommodate up to 6 peoples.

MINUS :
very far from Jakarta it's takes more than 6 hours, it is layed in the end of pelabuhan ratu coast. The road was up & down. The access to this place Is very steep, even I need 4 times trial to climbed with my car. They should expand the pools because it's a family resort.

Our family had a great 7 night stay at Ocean Queen over Christmas 2015. The staff were really helpful and fast to respond over email and phone when arranging the booking and deposit and answering questions. On arrival the staff on reception spoke English and were consistently pleasant and helpful, and the manager Pak Suhud was really welcoming - great at checking we had everything we needed and providing information and offering help in arranging day trips.

We stayed in a beach front bungalow and it was perfect for us, with 4 AC beds, 2 bathrooms and a large living / dining area that opened onto a veranda and a small grass area with a barbeque just off the beach. There was a refreshing sea breeze and the atmosphere was really peaceful. The beach was pretty clean as things go in West Java - I think resort staff clean it daily - and the kids loved it. The sea is a little rough for little kids but (at this time of year at least) fine for adults. We would switch between beach and sea and playing in the pool.

The resort is also only 100m from a small surf break - Karang Haji - and have a couple of boards to rent. The surf was pretty good around low tide (and December isn't swell season) although it got quite busy some afternoons.

Apart from the relaxing atmosphere and really nice accomodation, a highlight of our stay were delicious seafood barbeques cooked for by our house attendant, Pak Wawan (at extra cost). We had some spectacular ikan kue and prawns.

My main comment by way of feedback is that the swimming pool is a bit tired - some loose tiles in need or repair etc. Not really a problem now but I hope it can be repaired before long. It would also be helpful to be given a clearer description of the house attendant's duties.

Overall, OQ is a 3 star location but a 4 star experience. We had a great time and plan to return - thank you very much to Ocean Queen and Pak Suhud for an excellent stay!

Resort is old and run down but staff are friendly and helpful. We were a group of 15. The food in the restaurant was amazing especially after not having access to fresh delicious food for 2 weeks. The villas were large and the beds comfortable. The ocean was peaceful and everyone took advantage of the in house massage service provided in beachside huts with views to the ocean. Motorbikes were available for us to use and we also went surfing every day with a fabulous bunch of young men who were wonderful. This is a place to do nothing, relax and read, swim and eat. The village mosque can be heard from 4 am in the morning. Mosquitos do get inside the rooms. The local seafood sourced every day by the house staff is then prepared for you on a BBQ in front of your villa - this was amazing and super delicious.

Room Tip: Just be prepared for the local weekend noise and also from the mosque.

Wow. Indonisia what a place. Defenatly the most adventitious place Iv ever been. Was in Indonisia for the world rafting championships supporting a family member taking part. Any excuse for a holiday right!!! Ok, Being a surfing area the waters along the south coast can be a little rough so no good for the average swimmer, if your a surfer you will love it. As for the area around ocean queen... It's jungles and paddy fields. Wildlife is abundant. Monitor lizards, crabs, geckos, and bats, and that's at the resort!! Outside you can find monkeys crocodiles and all sorts of gods creatures. If your scared of bugs Indonesian is no good for you let alone West Java/banten districts. Food from the kitchen is amazing, not the cleanest but still very good. Rooms/ villas are good. Go for one of the more modern ones if possible. Staff are amazing. Most Indonesians are really friendly have a great sense of humour. The approach road/ driveway can be scary. Make sure you have your foot on the break on the way in, and on the gas on the way out!!!
