I took my mother here for lunch. The food was fabulous, succulent beef and the fish grill was a rare treat. The service was excellent, very attentive and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

Just been for a family meal, couldnt fault the fish and chips but would not recommend the kids menu. Spag bol was cold, had to be re-heated. Kids burger was as tough as an old boot. Really no point in asking customers if everything is ok when they dont do anything about it! Not impressed!

Sadly eating at the Plough isn't as good as it once was even with the change of management. Prior to the alterations last year it was a very pleasant place to go for a meal, but it's now changed to boil-in-the-bag and microwaved food. We recently went for a meal and whilst it was OK it wasn't anything like as good as expected. To retain customers it really needs to improve the quality of the food served. It hasn't really got any competition in the village and the chain which owns the pub needs to change its policy and allow the current management team to offer daily specials and not restrict them to the prepared meals they have to serve.

We stayed at the Plough for two nights and were very impressed by the standard of accommodation. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. The food was good and the staff friendly and attentive.

I have vistited this pub on numerous occasions while i have been out on the bike with my husband and i must say what a lovely pub the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and generous portions were given. I can't fault the service given by the staff in the pub nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definately recommend that anybody in the area or travelling around the area visits this lovely friendly pub
