First visit to Rocky Bottoms and the food was great, very nicely presented and portions a sensible size. The service was a bit lacking in as much as where we were sitting everyone seemed to be a bit forgotten. Waited 20 mins to place our order for drinks. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed with everything and we had to go through our order with her ( 4 things) a couple of times, possibly she was new and getting to know the menu. However there really is no excuse for saying what when someone orders an americano with milk! We will return but will try during the week and not a bank holiday weekend

If you want to enjoy Cromer crab without sitting in a restaurant, this spot is perfect. They DO have a nice looking restaurant, but they also have a take out fish counter. I got two dressed crabs (brown and white meat of the crustacean mixed together with breadcrumbs and seasoning and then neatly presented in a crab shell) to go for £5.50 each (for the large size). We ate them at our self-catered home and they were delicious. We'll get more another day before we move on.

So good to sit and eat the fruits of the sea whilst watching the sea they were plucked from. The staff were a bit rushed and there was no room inside but we sat outside and didn't have to wait long. The food was really good. Shame it closed so early.

Delicious sea food in an unassuming rusticly chic setting. An old brick kiln. Who’d have guessed from the outside? Spot on decor inside with rustic deck outside overlooking the sea. Best of all the food was as seafood should be fresh, fresh as mermaid’s breath. We had whitebait for starters. Both the spiced up version and standard crispy, and loved trying to decide which was best. Followed by crab linguini, fish cakes and special ‘ tart of the day ‘. All was scrumptious, fresh salads, new potatoes or chips accompanied this perfectly. Would love the chef’s dressing recipe.... a super spot for any time of day.
