What a wonderful place to stay, we were only there for one night but the service is spot on, a very welcoming and relaxed feel to this quante and beautiful cottage that you walk into, very clean and quiet. The breakfast was all local produce and delicious. I would highly recommend it for a stay, long or short. We have staying in some expensive hotels before but I rate this better than some of them. Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely little place hosted by warm, accommodating people who made us feel very comfortable. Good communication, a breakfast and set-up perfect for travelling with dogs! Would happily recommend and stay again

A beautiful cottage full of character, a lovely bright clean inviting room with very good ensuite and an friendly helpful host.
Kingsmede is an ideal retreat for couples or family and is dog friendly .(well behaved dogs of course ) .there is a peaceful large back garden to relax in .
The cooked full English breakfast was very good .Chris can certainly cook , for those seeking alternate light choices were available ,fresh fruit ,yogurt nuts and dried fruit .and a good selection of preserves for toast .An impressive b/b that will hold in our memory for all the right reasons .
We hope to return again .
An ideal place to explore from , good walks nearby and within five minutes walking distance a good local pub with a wide range of evening meals at reasonable prices worth visiting .
close to coastal towns, beaches and beautiful villages .
A peaceful Oasis .
We would highly recommend .

Very pleasant stay at this B&B and made very welcome by hosts Chris and Kelly. Breakfast was very good and nice to have someone that understands the need for being gluten free. Pleasant village location with a good pub that was walking distance.

We stayed here for three nights in March. Chris is a great host. All communications before our trip were straight forward and helpful. He even booked our ferry for us! When we arrived Chris was there to welcome us. Our room was spacious and clean. Great bathroom and shower. The breakfast is really really good. Location is perfect for Ventnor and nothing is more than 30 minutes drive away. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
