The biggest plus point for this resort is the location. One can spend time in this resort for a couple of days without going anywhere. The approach road to the resort is pretty bad, but once you reach the place, it is fantastic.
We stayed in the standard rooms on the ground floor. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The food is generally good and the kitchen staff friendly. If you have young children, you can make special request for a khichdi or something equivalent.
There is a swimming pool, a bar. If you ask the staff, they can arrange for a plantation walk, which I'd recommend.

Room Tip: For people with difficulty to walk, ask for rooms near the restaurant, else it'll be a long walk.

I stayed at Windflower Resorts for 3 nights on a personal trip and loved the experience. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The food was delicious. The staff was courteous and polite. The property is massive, and you can spend some good time inside the hotel in addition to exploring the city. I strongly recommend this place for a luxurious stay in Coorg.

We were here in April, 2017 and stayed in one of the villas. The villa was absolutely beautiful with it's own entrance, a sitting room, a foyer area with an outdoor whirlpool, a large bedroom and bathroom. It villa was well maintained and provided adequate privacy especially around the whirlpool area.
We loved the walks to the restaurant where the food was pretty good. The F&B Manager (don't remember his name but he did have a musical symbol tattooed on his arm noted our preferences and saw that they were provided consistently. We liked the coffee and jaggery concoction that he provided every time we entered the restaurant.
The spa was beautiful and spacious and we really liked the spa massage as well. We didn't dip into the pool but saw that it had a very exotic feel to it especially at night. This place is good for couples and for families.

Room Tip: Go there during the coffee season so you can actually see the coffee growing around you.
