This is located in a very nice town by the seaside. There's a lovely walk you can take out to the old dock that faces out to the sea.
As for the private rooms, the beds were not very comfortable. The "blackout" shades had slits in them and didn't block out much light; which was especially important since we were visiting during the summer months. The climate was also finicky, some nights it was warm, others it was cold. There was no thermostat. Overall, it was difficult to get a good nights sleep most of the time. However there is a kitchenette and free tea in your room.
Theres also a few stray cats that hang around the hotel, which is personally always a plus for me.
I would probably not stay here again due to the poor sleeping conditions.

Very nice hostel, everything was nice. Fully equiped kitchen, enough clean bathrooms and showers. Cosy living room, large dining room, fine bedrooms. Wifi connection and electric charging station for every bed. Friendly staff.

Excellent stopover on the Ring Road. Big apartment with everything needed in it. Easy to locate and parking is in front of the building. We had the room on the 2nd floor and it was very private and quiet. 4 comfortable beds spread through the apartment and room. Heaters worked very well as that night we stayed was so windy, cold and wet that we couldn't get out for a walk around the area. Do note that no ameneities nearby except a drive 20mins to the nearest town. Good WiFi cover and we had a blast making dinner in the kitchen. The sea is just meters away in the back of the building.

Excellent place to stay. The hostel is beatiful and cozy. Very clean. The rooms and beds are spaceous. They provide free linens and towells, there is also free food and toilletries from other guests. It’s very quiet and friendly. 100% recommendable. I stayed for 3 nights and would have stayed longer. You definitely need a car to move around but It’s pretty close to most of the sites. It’s the perfect place to stay if you prefer something a bit away from the city and closet to nature

It’s located in small town, Eyrarbakki attach to the sea.
The apartment is fully equipped with the necessary thing that you want, but there is not stove. Only microwave is provided in the room.
Room is clean, large and comfortable. Staff is kind and helpful. Wifi is very fast.
The price is very good.
Grocery is nearby. It’s just 1 minute walk.
There is some restaurant in walkable area.
Recommend for all kind of customer.

Great location for visiting Southwest Coast (Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik, Golden circle, Westman Islands. Fully equipped, comfortable, and friendly helpful manager. Very clean. Great off-season price. Merci beaucoup!
