We had a delicious grilled fish dinner here, overlooking the harbor, the evening before the start of our Fisherman's Trail hike. Great service, great food, beautiful setting. Very relaxed and friendly - highly recommend.

Past reviewers may have been having a bad day - we had a lovely meal, the freshest fish with attentive but laid back service and the best views in Porto Covo - Miramar is not to be missed.

As we’ve spoke today, before I left your restaurant, the use of mask by the chef it’s not optional... it’s a must!

Ensuring the best hygiene practices during food preparation and cooking is a daily task for all food and beverage establishments. However, reinforcing these practices at this specific time is extremely important!

I can’t write a review about the food as I have left the restaurant after when I realized that people in the kitchen (3) weren't wearing mask...
Employees serving at the tables were always entering in the kitchen, removing their mask when speaking with their colleagues ... and also... table distance ... not even 1 meter.

Dear restaurant owner, also, please use mask when you’re disinfecting cutlery or when you’re going behind the counter... The use of mask is not optional as you told me.... the use of mask is mandatory!

Covid-19: We each have a professional responsibility to be civil and show respect and kindness for others at all times

I had spotted bad reviews and mention of unfriendly staff and have to say this was not the case on our visit. We were looking for fresh fish. Staff were very courteous and friendly. I think they have limited English but spoke far more English than we had Portuguese! I had fresh sea bass; picked straight from the cold display and my friend went for fresh sardines. We had mixed salad, veg and pototoes as sides with bowl of olives to start, washed down with bottle of house white. We chatted with other visitors, and locals jumped up and offered their tables when more visitors arrived. We stayed on as the conversation was good, had dessert, and a large glass of red wine each. The bill was under €40. It is a casual dining experience but warm, friendly and very good value.

Awful slow service and very very poor food we certainly won’t visit again! Please avoid unless starving
