I went to La Bella Vista for lunch after a long car drive from Porto to Porto Corvo. I had the salmon pasta and my gf had the Bolognese pasta. The service was quick, the waiters were nice and the food was great.

We went to the restaurant because it seemed to be the only place open in town. We were very pleasantly surprised as we had seen some negative reviews. Based on our experience those reviews were totally undeserved. We each had pasta dishes and they were very good. The house was was also very good at an excellent price. The service was good to excellent, especially considering how busy they were. We would certainly recommend the restaurant.

After a long day's travel, we were famished and fell upon this restaurant lured by the appetising aromas. After ages deliberating on which pizza to order I chose the O Sole Mio and my friend the Milano. The pizza base was incredibly light with lots of fresh herbs, rocket and goats cheese. We also ordered side salad and a very good half carafe of house red wine for €6. All in all the meal was very good value with excellent service.
