Delicious seafood, super friendly stuff. You need to habe a reservation! We had the octopus salad, grilled fish, salad, calamari…very tasty, good prices!

Average at best , we both ordered the cod as most of the fish on the menu was not available. It came very dry , overcooked & tasteless . The presentation was poor . Thankfully trip advisor reviews had recommended the home made chips , which we ordered and enjoyed. The desert was an enormous slice of biscuit cake , which we shared was very tasty & well worth the money. Constant queue outside ,so obviously popular , but ya get the impression they know that and that unfortunately that reflects in the standard of the food & service.

Very popular restaurant, try to book in advance. The food was really good and so was service. We had an octopus salad and cod rice. All very tasty.

We insisted on eating lunch at this restaurant on an August day without being allowed to reserve, so eventually we ended up waiting for over an hour. We had been warned, though, so cannot complain too much.
It was generally worth it, as the place offers a nice vibe in the centre of Porto Covo, good traditional Portuguese food and drinks with reasonable prices.
We had octopus, cod and sardines, which were all good, however not exceptional. Food served to other tables also looked good.
The white wine was great as well as the dessert (biscuit cake).
Generally recommend, but better skip it on busy days.

TERRIBLE SERVICE.
Seems to be a constant for Brazilians - most one star reviews stating arrogance, rudeness and poor service are from Brazilians. This says a lot about the spirit of the service at this place. Food was amazing, my compliments to the chef, but it was amazing in the neighboring restaurants as well - without the taste of racism being left for desert.
