We Came across this Place while staying in Porto covo for one Night. The food was amazing and the Service incredible! One of the best Restaurants we have been to in a while.

I was staying at the Praia Covo hotel & usually avoid the in house restaurants at hotels but the restaurants in the main square & main street were not great so i at in. The service & food were very good & reasonably priced. Would eat there again
We had a wonderful dinner here last night after spending a week in the awful Turim hotel in Funchal, Madeira.
It was just what we needed.
A lovely hotel and dining room...
We are returning visitors to Porto Covo and were curious to find out about the new restaurant Slow Sea in the Porto Praia Hotel & Spa. We were not dissapointed! Great food and nice helpful staff. We were 4 and shared some of the starters, nice taste, fresh products and presented in a creative way. The main course was just as good! Good quality meat and fish, good portions and prepared in the right way. Price was reasonable giving the quality of the food, service and surroundings.
One comment, the resaurant feels a bit cool, some art on the wall or some sculptures or flowers would certainly add positively to the experience.
