This hostel is a real gem.
I and my wife Kathryn enjoyed 3 nights in Mute and I have to say I was seriously impressed.
The location is simply fabulous with the ocean right on the doorstep, and superb, easily accessible coves a few minutes walk away.
Breakfast was a real treat, and the staff were so helpful and accomodating.
We stayed in room number 1 that was perfect for our needs and opened out directly to the lovely sun lounge and pool area.
A perfect place to relax after a days walking, swimming or shopping in the busy town centre.
Overall a really positive experience for someone like me who, at (hopefully a young) 73 years of age had never stayed in a hostel before.

They say the hotel is sustainable, but how is that possible when the furnishings are mostly Ikea materials?

In addition, the finish is worthless. Poor quality sanitary facilities. The door to the hotel has to be opened by force because it is jammed. The room is much too small for two adults. Breakfast is very bad.

The only positive thing is that the staff is friendly.
