Family of 5 and stayed in a nicely appointed apartment. We were right next to the pool and shop, which I was a bit concerned about as I thought it would be noisy, but ultimately was fine.

Letdowns of the site is that there is no animation team and the site is very tight. No real free playing space or area for kids to play games. It was associated with Yelloh-village and I was led to believe there would be stuff to keep kids entertained, but there is nothing. Just the pool (very busy) and a small football/basketball court.

Also, it doesn’t seem to be a yelloh-village site any more.

Porto covo is nice, but really for entertainment it’s the beach or nothing. On-site restaurant is fab, but you need a booking (when we were there anyway).

I booked Costa do Vizir as I though there would be stuff for kids to do, but really there isn’t. Our kids were happy to leave - they found it a bit dull.

We have travelled from France, down thru Spain and now going home via Santander.
This site is the best ever.
Hot clean Showers. Toilet paper provided. Clean amenities.
Pitches are a good size but Sandy. Bar not open yet but did managed to get a take out beer.
Didn’t eat here but the Restaurant looked beautiful.
10 out of 10 not expensive but well worth the visit.
The beach is only 10 mins to a beautiful cove with good clean sand.
We ate at the Miramar fish Restaurant not cheap but what a view and what a great Sole which covered the plate.
Staff very friendly small shop behind bar serves fresh bread and cakes,get there early or all the bread gone.

This campsite treated ACSI members with dogs badly. We were told if we wanted to stay on any of the pitches we would have to pay €6 a night for our dog, despite a dog being included in the overall ACSI price of €18. If we didn't want to pay that we were shown a piece of hilly land with no flat pitches and the toilets unusable due to renovation. It wasn't a place you would want to spend a holiday, even to stay one night would have been a big disappointment. To sleep on a nice pitch they charged us €27.80 a night, I don't think we got any ACSI concessions. Some people who had stayed there a couple of years ago and found it to be a nice, friendly place, had booked for a month were also subjected to the same trick and left after three days. We have stayed in many beautiful ACSI sites over the years and never been made to feel second class citizens
