We planned a trip to The Roseate Ganges in January for celebrating my husband’s birthday. I must thank the staff who made our stay so comfortable and special for us. To begin with, the entire staff is extremely courteous, special thanks to chef Manpreet for treating us with his amazing culinary skills everyday of our stay and took all our special requests very sweetly. The kids had a great time trying all the yummy food.. specially the freshly baked donuts and pancakes. Abhishek and Salman were extremely helpful too,and made sure that the all arrangements for my husband’s birthday were done with precision. Overall the property is beautiful with private beach, that is peaceful and well maintained. We would definitely want to come back here.

We stayed at the Roseate for three nights and we can very say, it is of the best properties in Rishikesh.
All COVID rules were followed.
Our rooms were spacious and multifunctional, the food was so so so so good. Chef Manpreet and his team were super friendly and we felt at home thanks to the staff. Very polite and helpful people. The hotel has its own beach, which is the best thing about the hotel. We spent 3-4 hours near the Ganga river. It was exhilarating. The local Pahadi thali was to die for. We flew from Mumbai to Dehradun and it was a short drive to the hotel from there. The hotel driver Mr. Indermohan was very kind to show us around and give us the best view of the Ganga arti.
This trip was a highlight of 2020 for us.
We thank each and every member of the Roseate Ganges for making our trip so amazing.
We hope to visit back soon.

Location: The hotel is in the woods with ganga nearby, with pleasent arrivals of variety of birds and monkeys. But the hotel is far from the main city with hotel not providing any transfers free of cost. We even had a fight with staff there on this, since they confirmed over call that they would provide transfers but later in hotel they denied. And the hotel is almost 20 km away from laxmanjhula, which makes transfers very expensive. So unless you take your own car, don't rely on hotel transfers.

Rooms and services : The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, but were not as spacious as I expected for booking a villa. The rooms for a villa were not more than a single deluxe bedroom in a good hotel. But still the architecture, view and washrooms were all well managed and pleasing to eyes. I also had no problems with room service. They were on their toes in helping with all things we required. And in all their services they were extremely cordial and helpful.

Restaurant and food : This is where the resort outshined many of my other stays. It was far above perfect. And here I would specially like to mention services of Mr. Salman, restaurant staff at the resort. He was cordial, with a gentle smile always. He was like a cold breeze in a warm summer night. We were a group of 12 people, with all varying choices and to be honest a little clamorous too. But he not only smilingly took orders but gave his own suggestions, satisfied needs of every individual perfectly and was literally hopping to serve us the best. I have never experienced such an energetic and passionate hotel staff as him. Further the food was also amazing. Special kudos for dal makhani which one should never miss. All other things were also absolutely delicious and in this regard we were satisfied the most.

Other things : the resort is not very huge. You can expect it to be more like business hotel. The resort does not have much options for kids. Other than that, the setting is quite beautiful and their is a small trek to the river from the resort which is also delightful.

Overall, I would like to say, the stay was excellent with glitches regarding the transfers, and poor handling of the situation by the staff at reception. The location is quite favourable for people who want to enjoy the hotel only, but if you want to travel to main city, then it would be a little problem if you don't have own vehicle. The staff is very courteous in general. And check the room pictures before booking the hotel, since you may be disappointed with the room size keeping the congruence of price in mind.
