The hotel has a perfect location, right in the heart of Old Town, in a street full of stores and restaurants. It`s possible to reach all major attractions by foot, and you start to breath Quebec`s charm just when you step out of the front door.

The building is very charming and picturesque. They have an inviting lounge with a great espresso machine 24h. Rooms are spacious, clean and stylish. Beds are large, with amazing mattresses and several types of pillows. Not having a good night sleep is barely impossible.

The breakfast is worth a special note: Every morning they leave a rustic picnic basket at your door filled with heavenly delicious items. Breakfast here is not about the quantity (I guess all-you-can-eat buffet fans would dislike it), but it's definitely about the quality.

You really feels that every detail in every corner and service provided was deeply thought.

The hotel has a very trendy restaurant, where one of the best delicious meals of my trip where served. It's something not to miss.

They have many environmental policies and really engages the guests on being green, but without sacrificing comfort.

Not the best price, but the cost is definitely worthy.

Room Tip: Higher Floor

The basics are all excellent but what sets it apart are:
The friendliness of the front desk staff
The free DVDs in your room (hundreds to choose from - and a bowl of popcorn thrown in
The breakfasts served in your room in a little wicker basket
The "library" where free quality coffee via an espresso machine is available all day plus books and games. Plus fruit on the table - very classy.
Right in the middle of the old town

There appeared to be a noisy restaurant down below but by 10.00 all was quite. A wonderful stay - don't hesitate - book it now!

This was our second stay at l'hôtel du Vieux Quebec as this hotel is close to everything! 5 minute walk to the Château Frontenac, the Petit Champlain, the Vieux Port Market, the Capitole and SIMONS!
We were in room 113 on the second floor- a beautiful corner bedroom that offered high Windows. We would wake up to a picnic basket hanging from our doorknob, which was full of fresh pastries and cheese. We would have our breakfast while people-watching out our large windows.
The decor of the bedroom is "modern meets history". Very pretty and comfortable!
The lounge offers free DVDs and cappucino. We love this hotel and will be returning for 3 night this July for the Festival d'été. This is our romantic spot of preference!

Great location and perfect room. This hotel is right in the hub of Old Quebec and is very nice. The breakfast basket that is left outside your door in the morning is a really nice touch. We liked the fact that there is a Tim Hortons right around the corner.

Room Tip: Ask for room 113. It is right in front of the building

We loved our stay here! Beautiful appointments, thoughtful details, every comfort.

The restaurant is fantastic - so convenient. All the fights of Old Quebec within a stroll. Yet it is quiet and relaxing.

We found it to be the perfect place to stay and will return!
