It is definitely worth a visit to see Montmorency Falls. This waterfall is huge and powerful. The waterfall can be viewed from many angles. It is a good way to spend a couple hours and take photos. The tram is expensive but a good option if you are tired. Do not miss this lovely site.

I have been to the park several times in all seasons. It is always a pleasure to walk the trails and walk up to the falls. The winter is a very interesting time to visit as well as you can see the sugar loaf formed at the base of the falls. The stairs are closed off during the winter seasons but are open the rest of the year, an excellent way to walk the top and bottom. One can take the gondola if one wishes it is quite nice and not overly pricey. Their is a small museum at the top in governor Haldimand’s manor, which is very interesting (and free). If in Quebec City, it is a must see place to visit no matter the time of year.

The snow melt created roaring falls pouring into St Lawrence seaway. The park has a visitors center and trams over to the top of the falls. The old governors residence at the top of the hill is now a restaurant. This is a short drive from Quebec City and can also be reached with public transportation. Was cool and rainy at end of April and some snow had not melted yet. Falls can be much smaller during a summer drought.

This is a must see in outer Quebec. The waterfall is spectacular and the boardwalk around the cliffs provide amazing views. The walk across the suspension bridge gives a great view of surrounding area.

Quebec City is so pretty but it was nice to drive out to the country, just 20 minutes. The Falls are very pretty and while we were there, ice was breaking off the top of the falls. The ice at the bottom of the falls was remarkable too. Our GPS took us to the top of the falls and we had to park at a restaurant. Fries w poutine was the price for parking- not a bad deal! But there is a parking lot at the bottom of the Falls and you can hike up or take a tram up. There are also stairs however, they were blocked off at the time of our visit. There was also a zip lining station and we saw rock climbers scaling the side of the Falls. I definitely recommend this for your itinerary if you have your own car.
