Stayed here during the long weekend in May for the first time and my personal first in Montreal itself. Great location, walking distance to quite a few number of good restaurants, site seeing destinations and shops. The hotel was clean and comfortable for the most part. Upon on arrival the room had not had a “deep clean” from the previous guests. We found their travel paperwork, vouchers for the hotels complimentary breakfast (it had their names on it) and the bathroom still had some of their personal items which were left behind in the bathtub/shower combo and the countertop. The hotel did not provide us enough towels for the amount of guests staying in the room so a quick call to the front desk and they showed up immediately to bring as many towels as we would of liked. At this point I did not bother to mention to any staff or management about the semi clean room as majority of my trip was spent outside and not in the room at all. Overall the hotel was nice. Great for quick weekends away.

its a special night memory in Montreal, above all chairs important in the hotel. ha.... good location , 5 minutes walk to the riverside and city hall. parking...a little far from the hotel, for big suitcase, not recommended.

I recently stayed 4 nights at the Intercontinental on Montreal. To say that it is centrally located would be an understatement. I chose it because it is connected to the "underground" area of Montreal. The Underground is a maze of miles and miles of shopping and restaurants all without going outside. However, in May I didn't really need to stay inside. The hotel welcomed me properly. Eric was at the reception desk and made me feel at home. My room was on the 21st floor and afforded me a great view of the city. The room was large and included a mini-fridge where I stored food throughout my stay. The bathroom was large as well. There are 3 elevators and I never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. The breakfast cold and hot buffet was plentiful: croissants, chocolatines, pain aux raisins, breakfast meats, eggs, fruits, omelettes made to order, both hot and cold cereal and, of course, plenty of coffee. The servers were all attentive and efficient. I loved Montreal and staying at the Intercontinental made me love it more. You are just steps away from Vieux Montreal with its museums, restaurants, cathedral and old streets. I walked everywhere and, if the area was too far away, I took the subway. I would go back to the Intercontinental in a heartbeat! I spoke French the entire time (I am a French native). Merci beaucoup!

The hotel is located between old Montreal and the city centre. Great location for shopping, restaurants and sight-seeing on foot. Room was very comfy and quiet with good air quality. The bathroom was huge with separate tub and shower. The food in the restaurant and also during our lunch meeting was delicious. Really enjoyed my stay and will definately stay there again outside of work.

Amazing place. Well worth the price. The staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and the area isn’t within good walking distance of pretty much everything in old Montreal. Cafes, restaurants and the cathedral and square are very close.
