Nice place and location that I couldn't use a lot since I made late checkin and left early in the morning, just after the nice breakfast. I would come back 100%, just room was too hot and temperature difficult to adjust.

This hotel is away from the village which means it is quiet and relaxing. A free shuttle takes you to the centre which means you just can’t walk to the shops. We enjoyed the hot tub and the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Room Tip: Bed was really comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast ample but simple.

Great for Summer and Winter and is probably the highest elevated hotel in the area. Rooms with views are amazing. Great pool for family and 2 hottubs mountain side. Breakfast was a bit chaotic so get there before 9:00AM

Our stay was mostly wonderful!

The Good:

The fact that breakfast is included is awesome! It is mostly continental-style, but there is a nice variety of breads, cereals, fruits, etc.

The rooms are well laid out and even though it was a bit small, our 2 bedroom suite felt plenty big enough for our group of 4.

There is a free shuttle bus that leaves from the hotel every half hour, and this makes for a quick and easy trip into the village. We really appreciated this added perk!

The lobby and grounds are beautiful and well kept. We really hoped to get the chance to use the pool but unfortunately we didn't have time. It looked great though.

The Not-So-Good

Our patio and patio table was covered in bird poop.. so much that we decided not to sit outside as we had planned. It was pretty gross and obviously hadn't been wiped down in quite awhile. We understand that you can't control the action of birds coming and going, but the table could at least get wiped down every second cleaning or something.

The hotel provides take-away containers for guests at breakfast and WOW do people ever take advantage of this. When we got there, almost everything was empty except for the bread area. Not much fruit, no hard boiled eggs and no more yogurt. Granted it was Mother's Day and was busy, but we watched one guy fill up his "to-go" container with ten eggs... clearing it out for the people behind him in line.

The parking is outrageously expensive... especially when we were already paying $250 for one night. Once at the hotel, we met up with friends who live in the interior and therefore had to pay for 2 cars at almost $50 extra. We mentioned this to the staff member at the front desk and he said "Well ACTUALLY we are one of the cheapest lots in Whistler. Are you guys from Vancouver? I would expect that you are used to paying a lot for parking anyways so there you go." Yes. Indeed. We are used to paying a lot for parking... but not when already paying $250 for one night at a hotel.

Overall, the stay was wonderful and we would come back again. But it definitely rubbed us the wrong way when the guy chose to become defensive when we politely mentioned that parking was very expensive.

30 minute line up with only one person working the desk.

Should be quicker people. Should be much quicker and much more efficient.

There is a 200 word minimum for this review so now I am more annoyed.
