This place is absolutely gorgeous to walk around. Many different gardens to walk around, lots of bird life & other little critters to photograph. Very very colourful. Horse and cart ride through the park and surrounding streets, there is even a kids petting park across the road.
Just a beautiful place to visit !!!!

Seeing all the animals is great fun and quite unexpected in the heart of a city. You can pet goats and see chickens and peacocks.

I liked very much jogging there. Combining with a seaside part, the paths will lead you back to the city center. Wonderful trees and flowers.

I always love bringing my kids here when we visit Victoria. The scenery is beautiful and there is lots for them to do - petting farm, peacocks, duck ponds, ice cream and more.

This park was on my list due to the emphasis on parks and gardens on my visit. I was surprised to learn of the camas flower preservation fields. The bulbs were food for the First Nations people. So, there were cultivated ornamental flower beds and mix of native preserved spaces. Easy to get to and enjoy.
