di Beppe is funny because it has gone through several different iterations. The last one was very casual, focussing primarily on pizza by the slice. It always smelled amazing, but it just didn't catch on.

The new one (same owners) continues to offer the same very good pizza but with a more restaurant -like atmosphere. The happy hour is no special deal, but the food is very tasty with reasonable prices. I wouldn't rush back but I would have no trouble enjoying another meal there.

Really enjoyed our visit - had a great table at the front (next best is right at the back or bar). Shared the margarita pizza and cacio e pepe - both delicious and set up in front of us on a two level tray. Had a nice bottle of Proseco and this was enough for a dinner - no dessert needed this time! Will be back soon.

I tried this place after walking past it for weeks and I'd heard great things from friends. The restaurant area opens from 5pm and has a nice vibe, but the weird part is that guests waiting for a table are seated in the cafe area, which is kind of closed and dimly lit. Food and drink is available but the staff (one woman in particular) were pretty rude and uninterested. Service in the restaurant didn't improve much and we seemed like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. The food, however, was incredible. So, so good - fresh, creamy and delicious. It's a shame about the service.

This is a walk-in no reservation popular place. It's kinda cute in the crowded whitewashed brick restaurant side. The unisex bathrooms might bug those who don't like the toilet seat up or a puddle in front of the toilet. Beer drinkers might not like the eclectic selection of five cloudy draft craft beers and wine drinkers might not like the Italian only wine list. Our waitress was attentive, but didn't know how to describe the beers on tap. Everyone ordered something different and each received an unfiltered offering. None was well received which is a surprise in a town of craft beer. Beers are $7. Wines start at $40 and geographically represent much of the length of Italy.
Food: $16 Carpaccio was excellent, an $8 bowl of olives nothing special. Lots of pizza is served. It ranges from $14 to $41 and is a thicker crust than some. $20 pasta is either spaghetti or rigatoni in a choice of five sauces or lasagna. My rigatoni amatriciana was plentiful and flavourful, but nothing over the top. Dinner for four was $320 before tip. In general all was good but the overall room, food and drink choices were average for the price. There's better value out there, but hey, the place is full and full is success.

This place is half cafe / half restaurant. I liked that I could sit in the cafe with a negroni while I waited for a table.

The pizza was delicious - we opted for just the margarita. Paired with the mushroom pasta.

A new favourite. Don't miss it.
