I stayed at that hotel with my family.

The room is small, but very clean. The location is great as it from a walking distance to all the stores and restaurant of Jasper.

The air conditioning is a noisy, so I suggest you bring earplugs... it saved our second night :-)

I read a lot of very bad reviews on Trip Advisor prior to arriving and wuite frankly, I don't necessarily understand. This is a 2* hotel, so expectation management is important. Don't expect room service and a lot of space. However, you will get a smile when you arrive, a clean room and a comfortable bed.

We were comfortable in this room for one night, though it’s not spacious (2adults, 1 child). The front desk staff is so wonderful and helpful though- both live and on the phone. Unfortunately, our room was NOISY! There were late and early trains, loud A/C and toilet was loud many minutes after flushing. Choose a room that does not face train tracks. It was a less expensive choice in Jasper. No additional amenities or discounts at restaurant.

This hotel is 100 years old so not surprisingly has no lift. Bathrooms are clearly a later addition, taking space from the bedroom. No proper wardrobe or drawers, just a kind of hallstand for clothes. The owner explained that this is to deter bedbugs which live in drawers. Don't know if this is true but there certainly were no bugs! Being in the centre of town it is a little noisy. On the plus side there is a laundry room, very useful if making a long trip. Also a pleasant restaurant on site.

Was reasonably priced based on the other hotels in town. Small room and bathroom yes, I saw that as a complaint in some other reviews but it wasn't a problem for normal use. My only negative comment was how slowly and loud the water fills up for the toilet when used. If you are trying to be quiet during the evening forget about it. But the room was clean, very nice, and the staff was very friendly. Parking is right across the street and since you are in town everything is real close.

Not only was the price a gouge, the room was pitiful, unless, of course, you are looking for a student dormitory experience.
Except for the location, there is little to be positive about. The noise level was ridiculously loud and the bathroom could not have been smaller. Comfort is ok if you like sitting on a wooden chair to watch TV that you could not turn on because of too few electrical outlets.
People should contact the Tourist bureau for vacancies before relying on internet searches.
