We took some customers here for dinner this week and the food quality was outstanding, our guests were very impressed. Pork Collar and Plaice with Seaweed Gnocchi were our highlights. Lovely touches with amuse bouche and pallet cleanser between courses. The waiting staff were really friendly and informative. Gentleman who looked to be the supervisor could do with cheering up a little.

We loved our one night stay in this lovely pub with rooms. The room was a decent size with a comfy bed. Plenty of room for clothes in the walk in wardrobe. The shower room was quite small but the shower unit was nice and modern. The very small sink was difficult to not splash water on the floor. The toilet didn't flush very well and the noise from the plumbing from other rooms was very loud. It was a very warm night and we did use the fan from the cupboard but again this was noisy so we had to turn it off to sleep. We had a few drinks of wine and their home brewed beer in the lovely garden. Being Sunday the restaurant closed early evening. We didn't want to eat so early so we ate out and we don't normally eat breakfast so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked really nice.
We were quite surprised that we only paid £50 as it was a Sunday night. The normal rate of £150 without breakfast I think is on the high side as although the room was very nice I would expect luxury for that price: aircon, bottled water in room and breakfast included as a minimum. But the pub which does have resident parking for guests is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and Repton is a very pretty village.

Staff were a delight, loved the setting and the food was the best since we have eaten in Ireland. We eat out regularly and to find food this good, especially in a pub is rare.
Would highly recommend.

My wife and I went for lunch last week and were very impressed. So much so that I took a friend there again two days ago in the evening. The food is very good and the staff very friendly.
