Description: In our restaurant we provide a wide range of freshly prepared food. Our beef and lamb are all produce from our own Angus reared livestock and our venison from the hills that surround the hotel. We also pride ourselves in using and promoting Maris Piper Potatoes which are grown on our Farm in Angus and are used for our mash, roasting, boiling and we even make our own chips with Roosters! We hope you enjoy the food as much as we enjoy making it!

Just had a lovely relaxing break at these lodges and can't fault anything about them, they have thought of everything to make your visit unforgettable, loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone of your staff who do an excellent job. Hopefully you get the Hotel back open soon. ❤ Fiona

The Glen Clova Hotel and Lodges

Never fails to impress, we have been regulars for over 10 years. The procedures and precautions they have in place in order to keep everyone as safe as possible from Covid and still enable everyone to enjoy their visit to the Hotel ,Lodges, and of course the Glens is second to none.

Housekeeping is impeccable as is the daily checking of the lodge hot- tub which as you will see from the photo is definitely fabulous even in November. The staff are so helpful and friendly Mhairi front of house and the restaurant/bar staff. The Chef also cannot go without a mention of the superb venison dishes.

My wife and I and our dog Cash recently enjoyed an excellent stay at Glen Clova Hotel and Lodges. We stayed in the Glen Lodge which is well fitted out and includes private Sauna and Hot Tub. With a really comfortable leather L-Shaped sofa which views stretch out to the surrounding hills. We had takeaway meals from the bar every night and thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and we certainly will be back.
Tip - The nearby Glen Doll walk to the Corrie Fee Natural Amphitheatre is outstanding.

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing 4 night stay at Glen Clova. We hadn’t planned to visit but our holiday in Wales was cancelled at the last minute due to a change in lockdown restrictions. We were lucky to get a last minute booking for Glen Clova and it couldn’t have been more perfect. On arrival the lodge was superbly clean which was reassuring when travelling during the pandemic. There was a bottle of Prosecco cooling in the fridge which was a nice touch and the sun was shining. We ate in the hotel on one night and the food was fantastic! Scallops to start and venison for main. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant had other diners but all were well spaced out to ensure physical distancing and again everything looked impeccably clean. The staff were all wearing face masks but this didn’t take away from their friendliness and willingness to chat to customers. Everyone who worked there was lovely and so helpful.

There are lots of wonderful walks nearby and our dog enjoyed the holiday as much as us. The walk up to Loch Brandy was fabulous if a little tough on the knees coming down. I was glad we had set our early as it was getting a lot busier on the hill as we were on our way down.

Nearby Glen Doll has some fantastic walks too especially the views along the river and up to Corrie Fee. This was definitely a highlight for me and even my usually reluctant to walk 4 year old didn’t complain once but enjoyed splashing in the small streams along the woodland walk.

The trip was perfect and we even went online on the last night to extend our stay. Unfortunately but unsurprisingly it was already fully booked. Although we were initially disappointed that our trip to Wales was cancelled, any disappointment was short lived after we arrived here. And it was all within an hours drive from us rather than the 6 hour drive to Wales. We will definitely be back again very soon.

Had rained non stop the day before our visit. Lots of surface water on approach roads made us wonder if the trip was sensible. Very glad we came though as food was excellent. Staff were friendly and had a lovely Sunday lunch.
