We did the camel ride and the horseback ride.
Horse ride: my husband and I are experienced riders, but the other rider was a complete beginner- no experience at all-so there wasn’t really a Differentiation in the ‘beginner experience’ vs the ‘more advanced experience’( at least not for us) . But it was a nice , easy ride with beautiful ocean views . Just long enough. Quiet horses ( but many were too thin for my liking)
Camel ride: very fun. YYWhere else are you going to get to ride a camel outside of Saudi Arabia? They give you a helmet wrapped in cloth so you look like you should be crossing the Sahara desert! Nice walk along the beach-
Helmets are required for both rides.
CONS: you cannot take your cell phone- so no pictures unless you have a go pro. Don’t worry though.. they have a photographer that follows you around snapping all kinds of poses, that you are able to purchase at the end of your experience.
Darvin was our guide- he was GREAT! Friendly, personable, knowledgeable. Highly recommend him️
