This is a lovely hotel in an elevated position overlooking St Aubin’s bay. It has a beautiful terrace surrounded by well kept gardens.
The pool area was pleasant with lots of cushioned loungers and towels, but beware ‘heated pool’ is a misnomer. I was expecting public pool levels of warmth (25-27 degrees) this is only heated to 20 degrees -this is cold!! I intended to swim every morning, but had to brace myself to take a dip just a few times. Thankfully the weather was sunny so I could warm up afterwards on a lounger.

Our room was nice and spacious with lots of storage, a great bed and plenty of plug sockets. The bathroom was a good size, with a heated towel rail. The over bath shower could do with improving though - poor water pressure.

Great breakfast menu, only gripe - fresh fruit was unvaried consisting of melon most mornings occasionally with some pineapple.

We had 2 meals at the hotel. The best one was in the bar which I think is the nicest public area consisting burger and chips- £30 great! The second one in the restaurant was disappointing. My partner found his steak tough, my duck was OK, £63 for 2 courses.

This hotel is in an isolated residential area, and you will need to travel for other restaurants and shops, although there is a small Morrisons very nearby. Fortunately the bus service in Jersey is great, and there is bus stop at the bottom of the hill. I advise buying a Jersey travel pass to last the length of your stay from £8 (1day) - £32 (7day) - well worth it!

The staff were all very pleasant and attentive, and our enquires and requests were dealt with promptly. Our daily room attendant was very polite, and our room serviced to a good standard.

On the whole, I would recommended this hotel: for its position, it’s beautiful terrace, nice relaxed atmosphere and warm staff.

A wonderful hotel with fabulous views and friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Jersey. Beach within easy walking distance but hotel on hill so steep walk back. Only downside was tricky hairpin bend to drive in and out of hotel.

The hotel is beautifully situated with a great view over the bay. Rooms are large and the beds are superb. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The Cristina is excellent value for money and conveniently situated midway between St Helier and St Aubin.

I booked this hotel because it has a restaurant with good reviews and we could eat each night without having to search for a good restaurant. Here for 3 nights and the restaurant is fully booked for all 3 nights. We were offered a table in the terrace bar but didn't intend having burgers or fish and chips for 3 nights so had to go out to eat. £10 each way in a taxi to either St Aubin or St Helier.
I had contacted the hotel a few weeks before our arrival and feel that they could have informed me that the restaurant should be booked in advance of arrival. John the barman told us about 2pm that we would need to book a table but we were too late for all 3 nights.
Good thing he told us and we didn't just hope for a table in the evening because we would have been too late to book an alternative restaurant by then.
Most hotels mention booking a table when you check in but not this one, they didn't even bother telling us that the restaurant was full and only a limited bar menu available for residents checking in.
On the plus side, great views and comfy beds.

Room tip: Book restaurant in advance unless you want to drive or get a taxi to a restaurant. You can catch a bus but the walk back in the dark is a bit hairy in places.
