We recently spent a terrific morning in Merida tasting our way through the market with Alejandro and Iveth. And just when I thought we couldn't eat another thing, Alejandro announced that we were off to a seafood restaurant! This turned out to be the Marlin Azul - the same "Blue Marlin" mentioned in the February Issue of WestJet Magazine's cover story on Merida. Fabulous ceviche!!!
I especially appreciated that all of the tasting, the snacks, lunch, drinks, and ice cream was included in the cost of the tour. This made it easy to focus on the experience without worrying about digging out the correct change at each stop.
Not only was this an interesting and delicious way to spend the morning but it introduced us to specific and traditional Yucatecan foods that we then knew to order as we travelled throughout the area.
We highly recommend this tour and would do it again ourselves!
