We loved everything about this place! We don't usually go back to the same place twice but Garza Blanca will be an exception! From the kind and helpful staff, to amazing food, and superb view and room service- it was phenomenal.

I was very happy with all my stay at the resort. All staff was friendly and helpful. I am impressed with the free Covid testing provided before flight departure. The staff printed and provided a copy for us before our flight departure. As a member of the Tafer Group continue to enjoy every stay at every location.

A wonderful up-scale resort. We have returned several times. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! We had a beautiful three bedroom penthouse near the beach. Everything was great. A washer and dryer in the suite.

We never ever stay at resorts. This was an almost-last-minute getaway to just get some beach, pool, and spa time before my husband gets back to work after so long on the pandemic furlough.

The whole resort was well kept, with great views, and the staff were all warm and friendly. Hygiene theater was in full swing; seemed like I was getting squirted with hand sanitizer every other step I took, and temperatures were taken frequently. I call it theater because while I appreciate the effort, I believe masking and distancing are much more effective than all that other stuff. Almost none of the (mostly US American) guests wore masks or seemed to care much about keeping their distance, but the staff were always masked up.

We took the all-inclusive package even though we didn't intend to milk it for every meal (there are too many good restaurants in PV to try -- see reviews of Cafe des Artistes and Tintoque). The food was better than I expected. We ate at Blanca Blue and Bocados, and both places had good options for my pescatarian diet.

We got the honeymoon suite just to have the terrace with hot tub, and the room was spacious, clean, and the hot tub was functional (something I've learned to be skeptical about). It even let me set it to 40C and stayed close to that temperature during our stay.

The spa was up at Mousai, where we would have booked if there had been a room with the right configuration available. Mousai is the adults-only part of the resort, with flashier appointments, an exclusive pool, and a cool rooftop bar/restaurant that is reserved for Mousai guests most of the day.

Luis at the spa was an excellent masseur. We had pre-booked hot stone massages with him our first full day there, and we liked him so much we went back two days later for regular relaxing massages. The hydrotherapy room was a trip, perched so far above the sea, with lots of different stations for sauna, steam, hot and cool soaks, and this weird tube you sit in for what I call the "water torture" (it's really just like someone turns a firehose on your shoulders from above).

The one slight down note was that we felt a bit pressured to attend an "ownership program" orientation. Nothing against time shares, I know people who use them and love them, but we weren't willing to spend that time on such a short vacation. I had the impression the concierge staff was under enormous pressure to push this program. To their credit, they did back off after we first said we would attend and then thought more about it and canceled.

We would probably not go back to this place, but not because of anything wrong with the property, staff, or value of the all-inclusive package. We just usually prefer to stay in smaller boutique hotels or rent an airbnb, and it would have been nice to be closer in town since we ended up not wanting to get in the water as much as we thought we would. Though it was always easy to get a taxi into town for about $10 each way and we never had to wait more than a few minutes.

Overall I would definitely recommend this place for families with some $$ to spend and who don't necessarily want to spend much time in town.

We had a wonderful 3 days at Garza Blanca. Relaxing beach, impecable detail to all your needs, great food, a very attentive staff, and a fun time being entertained by the amazing bartender, Ulises! He is fun to watch as he custom prepares your drinks!
