Jo and Tony have managed to capture the character of this lovely higgeldy piggeldy town in their B and B. Situated in the heart of the town the decor and layout are a strong reminder of the significance the building must once have had for the inhabitants. A welcoming couple, good breakfast and amenities. The only negative comment was the single room was small but this is understandable in a conversion that needs to keep the original character.

Innovative development of the converted chapel. We had a large bedroom with sitting area and a clean and modern en-suite, which was great to relax in after our coastal walks. It was very quiet and peaceful ensuring a good night's sleep, although the B and B is conveniently in the middle of the village. Only niggle was that we had to move the chairs close to the TV as it was quite a small screen, but we did not spend much time watching television.

We made use of the pulpit area now a sitting and reading area, but not the garden behind the breakfast area . partly due to the weather.
We also made use of the boot room when our final coast walk had finished in heavy rain.

The hosts are lovely people who go the extra mile and had no problem with my gluten free request at breakfast.

As to parking, there is limited availability on the road, so the first night we used the car park 2 minutes walk away for only £1.50 for 24 hours. After that we were able to park outside

St Dogmaels has a real community feel and we were close to the bus stop, the small store and 3 pubs/ex pub for evening meals as well as the Abbey. There is also a riverside walk to the pub that is furthest away, thus avoiding the busy road to Poppit Sands.

Highly recommended.

Room tip: There is a ground floor appropriately equipped room and downstairs breakfast area for those with mobility problems.

What a great place to stay. Our daughter had a room to herself and loved it. Run by a lovely friendly family who converted the chapel into this beautiful B and B. Very interesting looking though the book of its refurbishment. There was a mobile air conditioning unit in the room which was a help in this hot summer we are having. The poached eggs at breakfast were cooked perfectly. As we booked direct we had lovely gift bag of goodies in our room which we really appreciated. Worth going to St Dogmaels just to stay here but the ruined Abbey and the water mill run by a lovely lady call Emma are well worth the visit too.

Room tip: Single room was great for a teenager.

I stayed here with my wife and 6 month old and found it fantastic. The church conversion is lovely and Jo was amazing. She helped provide a cot, highchair and even a microwave so we could sterilise the baby bottles!
We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for most of the week and Jo was really kind in watching our son while we could have breakfast in peace! Thanks so much!

I would highly recommend it here. The place is great, breakfast was delicious and the hospitality second to none.

Thank you for your lovely review.

We were delighted that chose to stay with us and I loved the cuddles from your little boy - he is lush! We remember that travelling with a young one can be a challenge and we do everything we can to ease the load and make sure that everyone in the family has the treat of a holiday that they deserve.

It would be lovely to see you again and we hope that you fulfilled your trip down memory lane in Pembrokeshire.

Very fondest of wishes to you all. (Nye says 'Hi')
