Horrible. U have to wait untill 4 to start check in. Which then can take another couple of hours depending on crowd. This is done so that people spend money on food and liquids while they wait an average of 6 hours. Read the reviews. Advertise 2 restaurant's but actually only 1. No umbrellas or shade by pool or on beach. Very small beach. $12 ride each way to shops and good restaurants. Time share scam. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS.

Lengthy checkin- wait in a very crowded lobby until 4 PM for checkin- tons of cruise passengers arrive at the same time. They do have the coconut bar place to wait with a number of entertainments.
Great location with quick access to beach. A decent store, a little expensive.
Good pool and hot tub.
Very friendly staff.
Problems are the rooms- old, moldy with poor upkeep.
Tile floor gets “wet”with AC dripping water.
Not much to do at the site outside of the beach and pool. No shuttle bus and you depend on Raxi.
Room has a kitchen if you are inclined to cook. Don’t expect vegetables at the store.
Slow restaurant with limited menu.

Room Tip: Ask for ocean view or across the road marina view, higher floor

overall a very nice resort. The rooms could use some updating. The restaurant was very good. the beach was great. met a lot of nice people. Was sad to see the Island so impoverished.Would love to see Island music come back. We would return to this resort.

The place is far away from pretty much anything else with exception to a few other bar/restaraunts along the Beach way. The water when we were there was nearly flat, little wave action but this may be time of year/month issue for all I know. The place is in serious need of a hard core cleaning. The pool wasn’t clean, the area around the pool wasn’t clean and our unit was so dirty that a walk after a fresh shower in the bathroom just to the bedroom yielded blackened feet again which is just YUCK! They have housekeeping so I’m unclear why the floors were that dirty but they were. It is a 2 to 3 Star at best in quality only to be made worse by the staff. Uncaring, not pleasant, and the bartenders seem to literally be making a silent statement by purposefully ignoring most anyone standing there patiently waiting w empty glass and money in hand to be waited on. They just look at you and continue socializing or as in one moment where after a long rude wait he FINALLY took my order, filled the glass w ice... then stopped making my drink so he could run three treks back to his alternate ice machine to fill buckets of ice to restock his speed bar and only THEN did he finally make my rum and coke. I had been polite all along, tipped an additional 15% on TOP of the automatic 17% gratuity and STILL this was how they handled my needs. Mind you this bar has at best MAYBE 5 people at any given time wanting drinks so it isn’t like this guy is just slammed. Rude staff, dirty place, needs updated badly and not near any other activities to enjoy without paying a huge cab fare. So as long as you know that... enjoy. On the bright side few children, decent food on site and they play enjoyable island style music poolside all day which is pleasant. Our two days there they had some crew sawing and cutting all afternoon as they planked up the inner side of the bar roofing, appearing to want to block Birds from roosting so that was an added annoyance to our seeking a peaceful getaway. We are a well traveled couple who do NOT have high expecatations and had come to this place via a failed timeshare trip that was a total scam so we were prepared to just know it would be borderline acceptable and had planned to just enjoy it anyhow and we did our level best to do that. My last hour there left me so angry I will absolutely NEVER return to the Bahamas if this is how the staff throughout behave. I’ve NEVER been so angry I just slam a chair into the bar out of frustration but after this same bartender purposefully ignoring me and serving people walking up behind me first I had all I could take. Beware.

Every year we plan 2 trips to the Island Seas Resort. While it's not the Ritz, the accommodations are clean, well appointed and maintained. Overall the resort is beautiful and is recovering well from the hurricane damage. There are lots of activities right there on the resort and the staff is exceptional. Sonya, Trenetta, Winton and Navarro are consummate professionals, who greet everyone in such a friendly way. Adrian does a great job making sure the beach and pool area are maintained well. The bartenders (Jermaine, Renaldo and Corey) are very friendly and Tim does a great job during karaoke on Tues and Thurs nights. While the restaurant menu is not extensive the food is good. Also, there are other places to eat within walking distance along the beach, which is beautiful.
