We stayed at Bolongo Bay in the off season, so things were slow paced, just the way a tropical vacation should be! As with the rest of the Virgin Islands, Bolingo Bay is still recovering from the hurricanes last year. We stayed ocean front second floor. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is the our AC did not work at all, and although they offered us an alternative room, it lacked the view of the first room so we toughed it out. The Resturant was perfect beachside casual, the pool and amenities were exactly as advertised. The three best things were the view, the sea turtle snorkel sail ( on heavenly days sailboat, docked right outside our room), and the staff. Every single staff member from the front desk to the Resturant staff to the hotel maids were just lovely.
We are a family with three kids ( 9 to 15) and my (70ish) Mom, and there was something for everyone. If you want a casual family beach experience, this is the place for you:)More
