My wife and I sailed i High Pockets during our Honeymoon and it was one of the most memorable parts our honeymoon so 10 years later when we decided to go back to St Thomas we had to take another day trip on High Pockets. Kathleen and her first mate are awesome. My wife and I taken many day sailing trips over the years and our trips on High Pockets have been the best. Great boat, great lunch and excellent company. A trip to St Thomas isn't complete without a trip on High Pockets a 10 out of 10.

This is one review that I am so excited to share with the world, because this day was absolutely dreamy!
I reached out to book high pockets for the day during our cruise stop in St. Thomas. Kathleen was so lovely to communicate with from the beginning. I briefly mentioned food allergies, not in detail, & Kathleen inquired in more detail. The gluten free issues were no issue at all for her. As the time came closer Kathleen helped arrange transportation & asked if she could make a specific gluten free cake to surprise my daughter for her birthday the day of our sailing.
The morning of our sail, we were greeted by the recommended transportation & it was an easy trip to the other side of the island. We were greeting by Kathleen in her dingy at the marina. She brought us to "high pockets" & gave us an overview of the boat. Let me say, the vintage sail boat is beautiful, meticulous, & comfortable.
We were immediately served the most amazing beverages with fresh juices. We went to some beautiful snorkeling areas while Kathleen prepared lunch. The areas were clear, pristine, & full of beautiful sea life. After we entered the boat, first mate Danni ( who was wonderful) had a fresh shower ready for us & more delicious drinks in hand. When we returned there was fresh boganvilla, a birthday banner, and the most decadent meal for lunch consisting of a fresh mixed green salad, most amazing herbed chicken breast with a light vinaigrette, herb rice & to our surprise....Kathleen had even baked homemade gluten free bread! It was all just fantastic! After lunch we relaxed on deck & Danni brought us the most amazing, decadent chocolate cupcakes with cadbury chocolate inside.
From beginning to end.....this was the most perfect day spent on the water. From the scenery, beautiful sail boat, hospitality, gourmet lunch, drinks, music of our liking, & great conversation.....I cannot rave enough about how delightful Kathleen & crew were!
If you do anything at all while in the St. Thomas or St. John area.....your must sail High Pockets!

This might qualify as an excursion but it is so much more personal than that. Captain Kathleen and First Mate Emma provide a very educational, informative, feels like you are with family experience. Can't beat an outting that has only 6 guest and 2 crew. If you have never been sailing, just to experience the power of the wind when the sails are drawn is something to see and hear.

Captain Kathleen is quite the chef as well as being an awesome sailor. She knows her boat and her galley. Menu changes but guarantee a great meal will be consumed. A perfect spot to anchor and snorkel will be found for sure....

Final thoughts... GO GO GO... Don't miss this awesome experience. Small price to pay for a lifetime memory. We owe Captain Kathleen and Emma two big thumbs up for our day on the water with them. Even the storm that got us coming back did not deter from the experience.. added to memory.... Many Thanks... Kevin and Luanne

We had a great day with Kathleen and Emma, who both gave excellent customer service to the four of us. My Husband, two teenage girls and myself. The day started out sunny and beautiful. When we were in the water snorkeling the rains came but did not hinder our fun. Lunch was the best meal we had on our vacation. Our teenage girls had a blast dancing in the rain on the front of the boat in Kathleen's bright yellow raincoats! The rain did stop for our second snorkel and we were able to swim with turtles and stingrays.
