We had dinner at the Grand Turk Inn one night while we were staying at Bohio Dive Resort on Grand Turk. The restaurant was recommended to us by our dive master for the week. The Grand Turk Inn itself is one of the most adorable buildings you'll find on the island. It has a beautiful ocean front view and is very well maintained. We dined on the patio and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious! They had a large menu and many specials and everything was prepared from scratch. They had a large variety of wines to choose from and our group enjoyed a few different bottles.
As we were finishing, the owner, Katrina, came over to talk with us and we discovered she was from Wisconsin! In her youth she was a skier in the Tommy Bartlett show in Wisconsin Dells - if you're from Wisconsin you know what the Tommy Bartlett show is, it's been a major attraction in this state for decades.
Our dinner at Grand Turk Inn was delicious and we enjoyed our excursion off the resort and into town. Our server did an excellent job, the staff was attentive and we truly felt like welcomed guests. Grand Turk Inn is currently for sale so make sure to check out this gem before it disappears!

We spent two nights here for our anniversary in June. Katrina was a wonderful host and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was large and filled with antique furniture reminiscent of the old caribbean. The restaurant at the Inn is staffed by Dillon, the chef. His food was outstanding and creative with good use of local seafood. Pricing was quite reasonable for the islands.

The Inn is located in the old section of town directly across from a beach. It is quiet and away from the cruise ships. Katrina provided us with two bicycles that we were able to use to visit other beaches and explore the island.

We would recommend staying at the Inn for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We spent one night in Grand Turk. Katrina is a very nice person, ready to assist with the reservation and all other stuffs. But this is it. the hotel is old and needs significant maintenance. Upon entering the room an awful smell of humidity and old furniture is perceived.
The place is dirty and the small sofa in the atrium at the upper floor stinks of cat piss. A Youth hostel breakfast is served in the terrace: one piece of bread with butter and jam. One Apple and tea/coffee. Garden is not well kept at all.
I have travelled a lot in my life and I can honestly say this hotel can be rated maximum two stars and worth not more than 70/80 usd or euros. We paid 200 usd plus 12% taxes after bairganing for some time in advance. I understand that we are in Grand Turk where prices apre above average but this is way too much.
It is unbelievable that this hotel has good reviews. We are very disappointed!

Room Tip: I advise not to go there, until renovation is carried out.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Every dish is an "Artistic" creation. Must have the keylime pie. Friendly, courteous service. Great view of the ocean. Best to visit when cruise ships are not in port.

Really 3.5 stars. The restaurant is amazing. 5 stars -- I mean like 10 stars! The cook is inventive and immensely talented. The food is delicious, though as others have noted be prepared to wait for it even if there isn't another soul there. Everything is cooked to order.
The inn is more 3 star. We stayed about a week, in the Conch Cottage. The cottage is spacious with a large kitchen area and private entrance (separate from the main inn). It is quiet and cozy. Katrina is lovely and very kind and friendly. But I'm not sure her heart is in the business anymore. This cottage, at 200-300 a night (depending on season), was a splurge for us. We were expecting top of the line (we usually spend no more than $130-140), so maybe that was our first mistake. Just know that we never, ever stay in resorts or hotels -- always airbnb or self-catering. So this isn't a situation where we were expecting resort style accommodations, just clean and in accordance with the price. This cottage was dirty. The corners had dead bugs and dirt. We had to ask for bath towels -- there were none offered. Things also didn't work -- the stove had a short so that if you tried to cook on two of the burners you received an electric shock. Breakfast is delivered to your door, which is lovely, but it is a wildly uninspired breakfast (disappointing considering the amazing restaurant). Every day: a grocery store bagel or bread, Yoplait yogurt, tea. All around, I expected more for the price.
The porch is lovely and we loved the cats and dogs. But what is promoted as the "private" beach is a patch of sand about 20x20 directly on the road. When I saw "private beach" on the website I envisioned somewhere I could sit, on a chair, relaxing and swimming in private. This is not exactly what it is. It is right on the main road, with cars and people going by, so not really "private." To get to a nice beach, you really must bike. Not a long bike ride, but if you are going there to plant your butt and not move, I think you'll be disappointed in the "private" beach. That said, nice beaches are a short (15-20min) bike ride away; just be aware that the bikes on offer are rusted, old junkers. Be sure to ask to have the tires pumped before you go anywhere, or it will be a tiring slog! And we are bikers -- it's nothing for us to do 20-30 miles at home, and I have a 20 year old Trek, not some fancy carbon fiber thing.
I'm not saying any of this to denigrate the Inn, which by and large is fine, though I think somewhat overpriced. I just felt a bit sandbagged by the glowing 5 star reviews and wanted to be honest. I've stayed in cheaper places that were truly 5 star, and this one just wasn't. Nice people, and a nice island, but I don't think we'll be back.
